The first week I spent in Jamaica was in Negril at a property by the name of Tensing Pen. Some dear friends were getting married, and we spent every day lounging on the rocks in the sunshine, staring at the vast bright blue ocean before us. I began each new morning with a jump off the cliffs into the crystal clear waters below, and when I wasn’t enjoying being in the sea, I was always close by, entranced by her beauty and often lost in thought. I actually became quite fond of the fact that in order to enter the ocean you had to jump; I think I prefer the coral laden coast to the sandy shores I am accustomed to. Every sunset was magical in Negril, with rum in hand and in good company, we enjoyed paradise together.
