Bahia Backroads
I just couldn’t leave Brazil without returning to Bahia one last time to get a dose of deep jungle, rugged coastline, exotic fruits, hot, humid air and good vibes. This time I had the pleasure of joining a local family’s road trip. We explored the more remote sections of coastline with little to no tourism, riding on the bumpiest dirt roads I have ever encountered, singing the whole way. The trip was filled with plenty of beach time, water fall slides nestled in the mountains, and a ton of delicious farm fresh fare. This is the one place in South America that still whispers to me in my daydreams, tempting me to return.
Beautiful photos!!! I really don’t know if you accept blogger awards, but anyway I just nominated you for the Very Inspiring blogger Award, as you can see here http://mylittleriojournal.wordpress.com/2013/11/20/very-inspiring-blogger-award/. Anyway, I just wanna let you know that your blog and your beautiful photos inspires me to keep blogging and improving my photography! Congratulations!

Oi Cristina,
Muito obrigada!! I am so happy the photo blog is inspiring; very nice to hear especially coming from someone who lives where I am posting on. Your country was very inspiring to me and I cannot wait to return there one day.. or even move there! Thank you for the nomination.
