Cidade Maravilhosa

Rio de Janeiro is by far the most beautiful city I have ever laid eyes on. The contrasting rugged terrain and raw urban dwellings lead down to the soft sandy shores and into the bright blue-hued waters of the Atlantic. The landscape looks like it was born out of a sun soaked, sweaty daydream. The combination of vibrant, throbbing city and chill beach town vibes is unique and almost makes living in a busy metropolitan area palpable. Although Rio doesn’t quite fit the exotic, tranquil paradise I have mapped out in my mind, I could definitely return one day for a long visit.
