And it was by the music of nature that I found this amazing place. I was unable to rest after a long a night of travel. Being in a new place and remaining idle was pure torture, so I set off on what was intended to be a short, sunrise run on a nearby trail. The trail held my attention as the landscape kept evolving and surprising, until I heard the sweet sound of water. This magical sound like music to my soul quickened my pace as I kept going with a newfound determinism; I had to locate its source. Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined what was making this lovely song. I had visions of a simple stream, perhaps a lake or even a waterfall, but upon arriving what I found took my breath away. Nestled in a valley surrounded by boulders and cacti was this amazing pink granite waterfall slide! The stones were smooth and soft, and the water cool and refreshing, naturally heaven!
