Happy Belated
We celebrated the 75th Anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge here in the Bay Area (May 27th) with the most spectacular fireworks display I have ever seen! I hesitated about putting these up as I’m so far behind with the photo editing, but I figured they’re worth sharing for those that missed the spectacle. The entire bay turned into an amphitheater as laser lights flashed across the city illuminating the thousands of boats on the water and the beautiful surrounding landscape. Our expectations far surpassed, we sat in the grassy headlands, mouths agape staring as a waterfall of fireworks fell magically from the Golden Gate. The night felt as if we had been transported to another city in the sky, bikes took over the road and cars no longer had the right of way as people rode wildly full of excitement through the streets. A surreal night of freedom and celebration spent with good friends.
woah, you guys had a great view! we had a crappy view at Land’s End with a million other people, but the show was still ridiculously awesome. not sure the 4th of july will be able to compete
